I had access to our weight room today, so today's workout requires a little bit of equipment.
Do not rush through the lifts, this is not a speed workout. Really concentrate on squeezing the glutes at the top of each lift.
High Repetitions- Low Weight-Little Rest (water break as needed)
Reps: 20, 15, 12, 10, and 8
Dumbbell Straight Leg Dead Lifts
EZ-Bar PliƩ Squat (wide stance, feet turned out)
Hamstring Curls
Leg Extensions
EZ-Bar Squat (regular stance)
Box Calf Raises (holding dumbbell, toes on some type of stable surface, example here)
I used a 15 lb dumbbell, a 12 lb EZ Bar with no weight, and a 10 lb plate weight added to the Curl/Extension bench.
